The Real Capilla de Santa Isabel de Portugal was built at the beginning of the seventeenth century and once a year it celebrates ancient music festival featuring international music artists. This festival is open to general public and is free. Its main aim is to make this kind of music accessible to everyone and in doing so raise general interest. In 2009 the festival celebrates its 10th anniversary.
